Sobiech passed away Monday, 17 days after his 18th birthday. First diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was 14, Sobiech’s music became his way of expressing himself. His song “Clouds” not only went viral last December, but also resulted in a star-studded celebrity tribute video earlier this month.

“My closure is being able to get my feelings into these songs. So [friends and family] could have something to remember me by, or lean on when I was gone,” he says in a 22-minute film about his story, My Last Days: Meet Zach Sobiech, featured on SoulPancake.

From moments in the hospital, to getting the car of his dreams for a week and dancing with his girlfriend Amy in the living room or the middle of the Minnesota Vikings stadium, each minute is more moving than the last.

Even Justin Baldoni, the documentary’s director, says, “I was not expecting to meet a 17-year-old who would change my life.”

Members of the Sobiech family – parents Rob and Laura, and siblings Alli, Sam and Grace – ask that donations in Zach’s memory go to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund to help carry on Zach’s mission to help kids with cancer.

After Nikki posted an ad for Red Cross relief on his Instagram and Kim wrote about her tanning products he slammed her shortly thereafter, calling her out for not respecting the dire situation.

Kristen Stewart appeared to be in a chatty mood when she met up with friends for dinner in LA last night. According to a source on the scene, Kristen and her friends visited an eatery in LA’s hip Silverlake neighborhood. She chatted with her group while standing next to a car and our source reports that she “was in a good mood,” adding that she was “talking, smiling, very relaxed.” Earlier in the day, Kristen was spotted smiling and wearing glasses while riding around in a car with a pal on her way to visit an unexpected confidant - Taylor Swift! Taylor is, of course, no stranger to relationship drama played out in the public eye so perhaps some girl time with the popstar is just what Kristen needed.

Kristen’s split from Robert Pattinson was reported over the weekend, and more details emerged yesterday. Things have apparently been “not great” between the couple, and now it looks like Rob even moved out of Kristen’s home on Sunday. Rob packed up his truck with luggage, trash bags, and his two dogs and drove out of Kristen’s gated community.

Matt Damon joined up with his Behind the Candelabra costar Michael Douglas to premiere their new film at the Cannes Film Festival today. Matt also had his wife Luciana by his side and they snapped pictures of all the action as they made their way down the carpet. Matt and Michael are screening their HBO project in the South of France before it officially hits the small screen on Sunday, May 26. Earlier in the day, Matt and Michael attended a photo call and a press conference. They have been doing quite a bit of press for the biopic, which follows Liberace, played by Michael, and his young lover, played by Matt. Naturally, a story about a couple had to involve love scenes, and Michael revealed in a recent interview he wasn’t exactly put off by the idea of kissing one of America’s best-looking actors. He said, “As far as making out with Matt, it’s not so bad. We rehearsed the scenes. For me, I guess the biggest thrill is, when I first saw it, after a few minutes, I really forget it’s Matt. Matt and Mike, you know? I just forget it’s us.”

Matt is in Cannes after wrapping up filming for his upcoming film with George Clooney, The Monuments Men, in Germany. The pair celebrated finishing the film by having a boys weekend at George’s Lake Como estate earlier this month.
